12 weeks, and family injuries...

Well, I'm 12 weeks now... I'm 1 week away from being out of the 1st trimester!! You have no idea how excited I am about that. The chances of miscarriage at that point go down drastically, although I know you're not ever out of the ball park of losing the baby until you hear that little one cry. I've had a couple people in my family I'm close to lose a baby later in pregnancy, one at 24 weeks, and one when she went into labor. So I definitely know you're never out of the woods.

For my belly picture this week I decided to model one of my new shirts... I call it... camo flower.

So I found this cute little template on pregnancy so I decided to steal it:

How Far Along? 12 weeks 3 days

Maternity Clothes? oh yeah... tops and bottoms. NOTHING fits anymore.

Weight Gain? I haven't looked yet. lol I just don't want to know right now.

Stretch Marks? nope... not yet.

Sleep? terrible... I have an awful time sleeping at night. Probably due to having to wake up every half hour to pee...

Best Moment of the Week? I'm getting some energy back...

Movement? I'm sure there is, but I can't feel it yet.

Gender? your guess is as good as mine. No one has guessed yet though. Dave can't get his mind off of a boy, so we'll see!

What I miss? sleeping... through the night.

Symptoms: heartburn... LIKE MAD! headache that won't go away, seeing weird dots and lines all day, gas (poor dave, though he thinks it's funny so maybe not poor dave...) and I only throw up when I brush my teeth in the morning.

What I’m looking forward to? 2nd trimester, they all say it's so much better... only time will tell!

Weekly Wisdom: don't drink 2 cups of water before bed... you'll regret it... really you will.

Milestones: starting to get a bump, more than just bloat. I like that.

Emotions: crazy... lol I get really emotional... about everything... I'm so serious all the time that a lot of things irritate me... It's not just dave... it's everyone and everything. lol
