I made it!! I have 3 more weeks until I'm out of the first trimester and mostly in the clear. This week has been better for me. My hormones aren't so out of whack, and I've had a little more energy. It's been nice. Especially at work. I think even Dave would say I haven't been as crabby. I didn't have any nausea either, though I've had heartburn like CRAZY! I wouldn't call it my favorite part of pregnancy. I often frequent the website "thebump.com" and the other day someone asked the question "when do most people start showing?" She was really excited and just wanted people to be able to tell already... I know the feeling. So one woman got on there and said "you won't start showing until around 17 - 20 weeks" I'd like to call BS on that... Because as you can tell in the picture... I'm already showing, granted I'm still in the "fat" stage, but I'm showing non-the less...
So for the abundant blessings part. Not only have "I" made it 10 weeks, but Dave was offered a job on Friday. He'll be working for a company called Total Safety and will be fixing respirators for the Sinclair refinery in Sinclair Wyoming which is 5 miles from where my parents live in Rawlins Wyoming. The best part is that he applied for the tech job, and got the supervisor position. He didn't even know that position was open, but they decided he interviewed well enough that they would offer him the position. The better part of the best part is that it will be enough for me to stay home when I have the baby.
Dave is so excited to start. You can tell he's getting a little ancy to get things going, but they were supposed to send his official acceptance letter to him via email on friday but we still haven't received it. So hopefully we'll find out what's going on soon. I'm happy for him too, this'll help him not be so bored around the house either. So the down side to all this? We don't know yet when his benefits start, so we may be apart for a while. If they don't start like they normally would (in 3 months from date of hire) then I'll be here until at least January because right now my benefits for maternity are AWESOME. We don't have to pay a dime for anything for the baby so far. (another blessing)
So depending on a few things I'll either move sooner rather than later (which would be preferable because of the weather in Wyoming) or later rather than sooner. Which we're ok with either way because if I leave later I'll be working longer and we'll be able to save more money. So we're leaving it up to Heavenly Father to decide what is best for us and our family. Prayers would be appreciated!
Love you guys!

How exciting! I thought I had heard that through the "grapevine" LOL. Well lucky you that you have still been able to work I guess! It probably doesn't seem like it, but that is a blessing right there. I had a REALLY good job making lots of money when I got pregnant with Marshae. I tried to go back to work several times after quitting and finally just had to quit altogether because I was SO sick I couldn't even keep water down for days at a time, and I had to go in to get IV hydration and all this fun stuff! THEN I got home sick and once I graduated, there was no reason for us to stay up there anymore since Jake hadn't started yet. Hence the reason why we came back down here. There's somethin about being pregnant and being near YOUR mommy haha! Well good luck with everything! You're in for a change ; )
