Wedding Day!!!! 07/29/2011

Dave and I were married July 29th 2011 in the St. George Utah LDS Temple.  It was so much fun!  I didn't want to leave the reception but we needed to get to Vegas to start the honeymoon.
Coming out of the Temple as a married couple

Best Friends and Maid of Honor

Had a slight petty coat mishap...  This is what BFF's are for.  lol

Everyone who was there to support us at the Temple

Left Grandpa Schall, Right Grandpa Bates

Only 1 brother missing, and he was in Hawaii.  I missed him that day, but I felt so blessed to have the rest of my family there.  LOVE YOU GUYS!!

My shoes and our rings

Dave and his parents, brother, missionary friend Kawika, and Kawika's wife.

Our Rings

We went from the temple to my brother and sister in-law's house (Matt and Jill) to have our reception.  They were so gracious enough to offer their beautiful home for us to use as a reception spot and it was BEAUTIFUL!  Jill planned the wedding and she did such a wonderful job.  I will forever be grateful.
The cake/cupcakes.  It turned out better than I could have hoped.

BEST FRIENDS!  Nikki drove w/ her mom, cousin, and two beautiful little boys all the way from Crescent City, CA.  A 17 hour drive.  I've been friends w/ her since we were 5 years old.  I was so very grateful they came.  It would have felt like something was missing had they not been there.

Cutting the cake!

Feeding each other... get ready for it!!

BAM!  Take that!!

LOL I got him good... :)

Setting up for the reception.  Matt and Jill just happened to have these retro couches and they fit the decor perfectly!

It was a beautiful night for a reception in St. George.  It was projected to be 110 degrees, but w/ the clouds I don't think it got above 100.  We were grateful.  Then in the evening it cooled down nicely.  No one that we were aware were uncomfortable.

Throwing the bouquet.  Tawney caught it.  :)  She's NEXT!

Saying goodnight to my Grandma Schall.

We left for Vegas around 11pm, Dave surprised me w/ the MGM Grand.  When we got there our room wasn't available anymore.  Then we were surprised w/ an upgrade from a celebrity suite to a terrace suite!!  So amazing!  I absolutely loved the hotel.  After Vegas we went to Big Bear California, and spent nearly a week there.  We also drove to Newport Beach, Imperial Beach, Coronado Beach, and Riverside.  Coronado Beach was more of a "trendy" beach, and we weren't really impressed.  We loved Imperial and Newport.  We came home that next saturday, only to go to Ceour D'Alene Idaho 3 days later for my families reunion where Dave finally met Sam and Melissa, and Aaron's little family.  We had so much fun!  But now we're settled in at home in Salt Lake City.
