So I'm 8wks today... and I already need new clothes. Two weeks ago I could button my work pants but they were pretty uncomfortable so I would just leave them unbuttoned while at work. My shirts cover them well so no one was the wiser. I'm sure no one would still be the wiser, but I can only zip my pants up now 1/2 of the way up... a week ago I couln't button my pants anymore... IN A WEEK! I went from buttoning my pants to not even getting close to it... Isn't it supposed to be w/ your first baby your belly is supposed to not grow very much because your body doesn't really know what to do?? Isn't it w/ your 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc your belly gets bigger w/ each one?? I'm in serious trouble if that's the case... I'm actually excited to start "looking" pregnant... I'm currently still in that "she's gained a lot of weight..." faze and I'm am NOT a fan. Especially since I wasn't a small girl to begin w/. I was telling some friends at work that it's my worst fear is not "looking" pregnant and people just thinking I'm fatter than I am... I think though that I'm at that stage where I'm getting to big for my own clothes, but I'm not quite big enough for maternity clothes... this I think is going to be a frustrating stage...
Not a fun stage. Belly bands are amazing. They stretch over your regular pants so you can safely leave them unbuttoned. They're also great for the awkward stage right after the baby comes. I'm sure you'll be super cute pregnant lady =)
